In the canton of Bern, it seems that identification services are ordered very often, even if it is only about a contravention. Here is an example (without DNA profile).

In the case of a suspicion of a misdemeanor, an identification service is often carried out: Fingerprints, smear car mucosa (WSA, DNA profile), etc. Here is a corresponding order, albeit with some confusion: At acquisition reason is the talk of a contravention, at the penalty article is NarcA 19 mentioned. This does not correspond: 19 = misdemeanor, 19a = contravention. In any case, the document shows how quickly one can end up in an identification service (albeit without a DNA profile), even if one has only imported a few hemp seeds for oneself.
